Lamplighter tournaments follow Hockey Calgary and Hockey Canada conduct standards. We ask all players, coaches, and spectators to treat officials, volunteers, and opposing teams with respect — on and off the ice. Thanks for helping make this a positive weekend for every kid on the ice.
Stay safe
Scam alert
Fake tournament invitations are circulating in Alberta minor hockey right now. They copy real tournaments, come from lookalike email addresses and push teams to e-transfer their entry fee immediately. Here’s how to know an invitation to this tournament is real.
Check the sanction number
This tournament is sanctioned by Hockey Calgary under 27-900054. A real invitation will show the same number.
Know who’s hosting
Invitations come from the host team’s Team Manager or Tournament Lead, named on this page once the host has accepted.
Payment details don’t change
Payment details are never changed by email. If you’re asked to pay a new or different address, stop and check with us.
No pressure to pay on the spot
Entry fees have a set due date. A message demanding payment “immediately” to hold your spot is a red flag.
